IMPORTANT INFORMATION
In order for Reliable Horses to align horse and rider connections with the best possible set up for success, it is important that we own our horses for a length of time before offering them for placement with a new family. Therefore, we do not offer consignment services, however, we will consider purchasing your horse if it fits into our program for being honest, safe, sound and reliable.
Fortunately, RH has earned a reputation for years not only as a reliable source to buy your heart horse but we also pride ourselves on being the source that people call when they have changes in their personal lives that causes them to sell their horse and look to someone that will ensure their future is a positive one with a strict process of making sure families are the right fit including a request to provide references. We are also very well connected throughout North America from showing with our kids for the last 30 years and we look to other markets including the United States where we look to buy honest safe reliable horses to meet your program needs. If you have a horse to sell and you prefer not to deal with the public and social media headaches please text Stephanie 519 851 5687 or send details to reliablehorses@gmail.com
We take choosing the next family for our horses very seriously, we are their voice and we ensure that our buyers fit into the client portfolio that we choose to work, these are people who truly appreciate our vision and the difference we try to make in the industry. This coupled with references will be required by every buyer to be considered for an RH horse. The first step is to fill out our buyer profile on our website and submit it for review by Stephanie, second Stephanie will set up a one on one call to get to know you and understand your needs. Once Stephanie feels there is a horse that may be a strong consideration, she will invite you to the ranch for an in-person viewing and to meet the suggested equine partner. Stephanie only ever books 3 showings per horse, only at such time she feels none of the 3 are a good fit, she will then move to the next person in line. Priority is given by the date the buyer profile is received, budget and skill level.
I know it would be wonderful to “test ride” a horse, however, with them being animals anything can go wrong at anytime, they could get injured on a trailer, they could colic, riders could do things that could interfere with the horse that left RH, they could slip in a field, the bottom line is RH does not like to open any possibility for ill will and negative situations, confrontations and opportunities for things to go wrong. What we do…DO, we know our horses very well before they leave and for years we have been aligning horse and rider connections successfully, should a horse show a characteristic that was not disclosed and unknown by RH within the first two weeks we are happy to have a discussion and stand behind the issue. It is our goal to make positive connections not forced connections, the reality is, sometimes horses will change when they move locations and homes, we want to set you up for success, if this partnership is not a success we will either switch you into another horse that is a better fit or help you sell your horse to ensure you are never stuck!
